Motorpool area
In the exact center of the photo is the motorpool (vehicle maintenance) area. The large paved areas actually served as the primitive taxiways for Clark Field back in the 1920s and 1930s. The large orange building at the bottom served as the AAFES Four Seasons and Toyland stores. The quonset buildings at the right hosted a number of miscellaneous units and detachments; the Civil Air Patrol was housed in the one at the furthest left of the cluster. Beyond the motorpool the fuel tanks for the base power plant can be seen.
