Sacabia River
If you go to the Hill Housing area and keep climbing the hills
westward, this is what you see. You are much closer to Mount
Pinatubo (not visible, off to left). To the right side you
can see the Mactan Housing area, the furthest westward extent of
Clark Air Base. Just a couple of hundred yards away is the
Sacabia River (also known as Bambam Wash), which carried
vast amounts of ash and pyroclastic flow from Mount Pinatubo.
